1. Acknowledge that you, along with all people, have sinned and fallen short of God's standards. (Romans 3:23)
   
   
2. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ, who was God in human flesh, died for your sins on the cross and rose from the dead. (Romans 5:8)
   
   
3. Through prayer, personally invite Jesus Christ into your life, and place your trust in him to deliver you from the penalty of sin. (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20)
   

By doing this, you have God's promise that he will love you unconditionally, forever.
