i would just like you to let you know about my family. i am a 14 year old who is writing this. my family has always been happy and together. we all love each other and pray everyday to be like this forever. now these days have become harder for us.i don't know what is happening but we are in many different type of problems . we had two homes and California and sold both of them and now are in a small apartment. my older brother is having problems with his life aboutsettling down. my mother is in lots of stress and so is my father.we want to buy a home , but we just cant. everything is falling apart. is it because we aren't connecting to god anymore? my mother prays day and night, i also pray but not as much , my brothers and my father barely pray.it would be an honor to have this prayer request and see our lives change.

please pray for my kidnapped father Janan Al-Sanati who is still in the custody of the kidnappers in Baghdad. We're Iraqi Christians. I am his 27 year old oldest son. My father was kidnapped in Baghdad on 27 April up until this moment. He needs your prayers. We pray that no harm touches my father. We pray that the Lord places the spirit of mercy and forgiveness in the hearts of the kidnappers. We know that everything is possible with the Lord. We can not do anything without the Lord's advice and guidance. We heard my father crying over the phone... begging for help. The kidnappers demanded money and we offered 15000 but they wanted 150 000 USD. We have been negotiating with them and this evening they went down to 60000 and still we offered 15000 and we can pay 30000. We pray for my father's return soon and safe. AMEN

My oldest daughter is bipolar, stole my truck and smashed it. It is not able to be driven on the road. I only had liability insurance on it since it was a 1997 truck. She did not have a license and was not on my insurance policy. She is 18. Now I don't have any way to transport my things I need to my house (coal for heat, hay for horses, grain, etc.). I don't have the money to get it fixed and she does not work. I need prayers for the whole situation - for me to get a replacement truck, or this one fixed somehow (it's got thousands of dollars of damage), and for her to get the help she needs and to succeed on her own. She has gotten mental health help in the past and has wonderful counselors working with her, but I just cannot live with her any longer. I am a single mom and have no backup support because her father refuses to be in her life.

My husband (Paul) is commuting with 3 young men who are in their early 20's for the Sheriff's Academy. One who is the ringleader of the 3 (Mason), has a very perverted mouth and arrogant attitude which causes the other 2 to chime in. My husband cannot get out of commuting with them because it is mandatory to commute with someone nearby and they are it. It is getting very irritating being around him and his attitude toward others. He constantly swears and talks about other recruits who get reprimanded and have to write papers. What I am asking for in prayer is that the lord will remove this young man from this carpool somehow and even cause him to be humbled while he is training at the academy and that the Drill Sargents will see his arrogant attitude. God knows we don't need this type of person in law enforcement. Thank you for your agreement that the lord will turn this around.
